Meet our Teachers

Age Group:  Seedlings (Infant) - Lead

 

Education:  Currently in Junior year working towards a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education at Depaul University.

Experience and Qualifications:  Worked as youth aide with school age children at a previous child care center for 2 years. ECE teacher qualified.  ECE director qualified. CPR/First Aid Certified.

Age Group:  Sunflowers (Preschool) - Lead

 

Education:  Currently in Junior year working towards a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education at The University of Arizona Global Campus.

Experience and Qualifications:  Over 20 years of experience working will all age groups from infant to school age.  ECE teacher qualified.  ECE director qualified. CPR/First Aid Certified.

Age Group:  All, Little Buds (Toddler) - Lead
 

Education:  Associate degree in Child Development from Malcolm X College, Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Practice from National Louis University.  Currently working toward Master degree in Early Childhood Administration at National Louis University.
 

Experience and Qualifications:   Over 20 years of experience working will all age groups from infant to school age.  ECE teacher qualified.  ECE director qualified. CPR/First Aid Certified.

Age Group:  Little Buds (Toddler) - Co-Teacher

Education:  High School Diploma.  Gateways training courses.

Experience:  Worked as teacher assistant for 2 years at a previous childcare center.  ECE teacher assistant qualified. CPR/First Aid Certified.

Age Group:  Seedlings (Infant) - Co-Teacher

Education: Obtained an ECE Level 1 credential from Gateways in required childcare training.  Currently pursuing an associate degree in ECE.

Experience:  Has 3 years of child care experience.  Worked with children as the lead 2 year old teacher as well as years of nanny experience.  ECE teacher assistant qualified. CPR/First Aid Certified.

Age Group:  Sunflowers (Preschool) - Co-Teacher

Education:  Bachelor of Art in Education, Communities, and Organizations from the University of Washington.

Experience:  Has 1 year of child care experience.  Worked with children as a nanny and during her studies as a student teacher.  ECE teacher qualified. CPR/First Aid Certified.

Age Group:  Seedlings 2 (Infant) - Lead

Education:  CDA in Infant/Toddler and Preschool from Child Development Association.   Currently pursuing an associate degree in ECE.

Experience:  Has 10 years of child care experience in home daycare and childcare centers.  ECE teacher qualified. CPR/First Aid Certified.
